BIO: Sophie is a very sweet baby. Her tail never stops and is always wagging and she loves to play with squeaky toys.
It’s best if Sophie is supervised around other dogs; she can show a little doxie-tude and sometimes behaves alpha and can get a little fresh. It's best if Sophie is adopted into a home as an only dog. Sophie will bark at cats because she sees them as prey and really wants to chase them. She can get rather vocal when meeting cats and/or large dogs.
She is a huge love bug and is very eager to please. Sophie loves being with people and will bring happiness and love to their furever home.

We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law. Thank you for supporting a dachshund in need.
