Abby is a sweet and loving 5 month old dachshund. She was owner surrendered because the family had to move. Abby loves being in the yard and playing with the other dachshunds or even bigger dogs. She also gives lots of love. She is like a little baby. When she gets tired she will start whining to get you to hold her so she can go to sleep. Abby likes kids but would do best in a home with children over the age of 7. She would love a home with a big back yard but could go to a home where she can be walked several times a day. She is crate trained but doesn’t really like it. She would prefer to be out running around and sleeping in the bed with you. Can Abby come live at your home?

We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $60.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
