BIO:

Sweet Lady was dropped off at a Georgia shelter by her owners but when FDR found out about her we came to her rescue. Lady had a few health problems that we had taken care of. Her teeth were in terrible condition and she lost most of them during a cleaning. She still has her canines but will need to eat soft food for the rest of her life. Lady is an incredible companion and as sweet as you could want a dog to be. She loves to trot along on walks and really enjoys the outdoors. She loves running in the back yard and napping in the sun. She rarely barks and loves to be held in the bed and while you are reclining watching TV. Because of the time Lady spent in the shelter, she is very unhappy in a kennel and will scratch her nose if left alone in one. She is trustworthy in the house when left with a potty pad in case she has to go before you return home. Lady has a stiff way of moving which the vet thinks may be the result of a previous back injury. She shows no predisposition to having problems with her back and is completely comfortable and capable. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
