BIO:

My name is Waffles and I am as unique as my name. I am a beautiful red, smooth and none of my pictures do my justice. Everyone who meets me says I am beautiful so I must be! I am 4 years old and was given up by my mom because she was going through a difficult time and wanted me and my dad to have a loving home. She was concerned that she would not be able to give us everything we needed so she surrendered us to this rescue. I am very well cared for and my foster mommy spoils me rotten. I love sleeping in the bed with her at night snuggled under the warm covers. I also love playing with my other foster buddies, they are so much fun. I can be a bit nervous in a new environment because I didn’t get enough socialization as a puppy but after I warm up, I get along fine with everyone. I am still learning the art of going potty outside but I’m getting better and I do use the wee pads inside pretty regularly. My foster mom says that when I go to my furever home that my new family should be able to train me pretty easily because they will give me so much love and attention. We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
