BIO:

I'm Peaches and I am a very sweet and beautiful long red-headed girl.  I am a good girl and a bit sassy like all gorgeous red-heads....LOL!  I came to rescue with a good friend, Walter, who needs to have back surgery and will be in foster care for awhile.  I am very glad that there are such wonderful people to help him get better.  In the meantime I am looking for my furever home and a special family that will take me on walks or let me run in the fenced yard since I really like being outside, even in the winter snow !  After a good walk or some play time, I love to snuggle next to you in the big bed or on nice blankets.  I haven't really meet any children or cats, so I am not sure what they are or if I would like them but foster mom says I have a really good personality and am quiet a character, meaning I like to snore, a bit !  Are you my special family, if so, please fill out an application so I can snuggle with you !

We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
