BIO:

Hi, my name is Colby and I am a very handsome, light red, dachshund with shiny and smooth fur. I have the biggest and kindest heart and a wonderful, easygoing personality. I came to Furever Dachshund Rescue with my brother Jackson and my mother Tootsie. Everyone says that I am the sweetest boy! I love to share my kisses with my foster mom and anyone else who takes the time to get to know me. I am a little shyer than my brother and mom but once I know you; well, that’s it! I am yours and you are mine!

I am very well trained to walk on a leash and just like my brother, I love to wear sweaters! I just have to add that I am so handsome in my sweaters that people stop and chat about me and pet me. They think I am a “looker” and I have to agree! I enjoy the company of other dogs. I do not have a dominant personality so I would prefer that other dogs are respectful of me because dominant dogs scare me a little. I am a healthy weight but I do like to sneak food when I have the chance so you’ll have to watch me so I don’t eat someone else’s food, lol!

What I would love most of all is to have a furever home and family. I love to sleep in the big bed and just like my brother I can keep you very warm and toasty at night. I am very charming and would make a fantastic best friend. Won’t you please consider adopting me and giving me a wonderful furever home?
